The Primate Fiasco is a jazz/jam band who typically plays festivals and venues allong with the likes of FURTHER, PRIMUS, DIRTY DOZEN BRASS, OLD CROW, CAKE, etc. The kids album is a recent idea in fiasco history. They're having a blast with the kids shows but they remain an adult's band.

It's not so much a childish version of The Primate Fiasco. It's more of a Primate Fiasco version of Children's songs. The intention was to offer music that is as enjoyable for the parents as it is for the kids. The musical styles are no different from a regular Primate Fiasco album with multiple genres, heavy jams, thoughtful harmonies, and constant improvisation. There's no concern that it will be too adult for youngsters. Kids have dominated the dance floor at several adult Primate Fiasco concerts in the past where the music was fast, loud, and complicated. Give the people what they want, even when they're little people.
